Indoor Self & Valet Parking

Application for monthly parking can be arranged through our Front Desk. Upon author-ization of your request, you will be provided with an activated Access Card. You will be contacted by our Concierge Desk once your card is available.

 

Telephone

Telephones for Furnished Apartments are directly linked to The Sutton Place Hotel tele-phone system, allowing for direct access to many departments within the hotel. For your assistance, please refer to the telephone directory in your apartment for directions on telephone operation, use of voice mail services and a listing of internal telephone extensions.

 

All locals are free of charge, excluding directory assistance calls. Long distance charges for Furnished Apartments will be applied to your account at the same rates as the hotel. A charge of $1.00 plus Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be levied on all toll –free calling card calls.

 

Housekeeping

Housekeeping full service cleaning will be provided on every 7th day of your stay. There are additional amenities and towels in the linen closet for your convenience. Daily cleaning service can be provided  by calling the Housekeeping Department at extension 6355.

$40.00 plus GST

1 hr. scheduled cleaning time

One -bedroom

$60.00 plus GST

1.5 hrs. scheduled cleaning time

Two-bedroom 

$70.00 plus GST

2 hrs. scheduled cleaning time

 

Carpet Steam Cleaning:

$25.00 plus GST

Same-Day Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Our Housekeeping Department would be pleased to pick up and return all clothing items requiring laundry and dry cleaning service. Please call 6321 for pick-up. Charges do apply.

 

Laundry Facilities

The Laundry room is located on the 19th floor, Suite #1911. It is open daily from 8:30 am until 10:00 pm. Machines are coin-operated, and require $2.00 each load to wash & $1.50 each load to dry. For entry to the laundry room, please obtain an access card from the Front Desk. A $20.00 deposit will be applied to your incidental account  for the access card. Kindly note that the hotel does not provide detergents or fabric softeners for your laundry needs. These may be purchased at Rabba Fine Foods, 24 Wellesley Street, just a few steps east of the hotel.

 

Trash

There is a garbage chute on each floor, opposite the #11 apartment.  All waste must be in bags or bundles.

 

Mail/Parcels

Mail delivery will be made to your door daily by Canada Post. Please ensure that items are addressed to you at:

Other Deliveries

• Incoming Faxes:

May be received at our Concierge Desk – Fax Number 416.924.1778. You will be contacted upon the receipt of incoming facsimiles. Items can be held for your pick-up at the desk or will be delivered to your apartment for a fee of $2.36 per fax.

 

Couriers & Special Deliveries: (large or numerous items)

You will be contacted by our Concierge for courier packages and special deliveries. A fee of $2.36 per item will be charged for storage and delivery.

 

Baggage Delivery:

Our bell staff will be pleased to assist you with the storage and movement of your personal effects to and from your apartment during your time with us. A charge of $7.28 plus GST (in and out) per bag applies. Assistance in moving larger objects and the use of bell carts may be arranged through our Concierge at extension 6316.  

 

Health Club/Pool (Open Daily from 6:00 am - 11:00 pm)

 

Rules & Regulations:

We care about your safety and because this area is not supervised, we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines:

 

1. Access to the Health Club is restricted to registered guests only.

 

2. The electronic access card will be issued by the Front Desk. In the event you

should damage or misplace your card, please report this immediately to Front Desk

Staff, and your access card will be replaced.

 

3. POOL – children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult

at all times.

 

EXERCISE ROOM – Free Weights/Machines – To be used by those over the

age of 16 only.

 

4. No food or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the exercise room or on the

Pool Deck.

 

5. Towels and other supplied amenities in the facility must not be removed.

 

6. The Sutton Place Hotel is not liable for injury caused by use of the exercise

equipment or pool.

 

7. Please use the south staircase via the 3rd floor when accessing or exiting the

Health Club.

 

8. Lockers are provided in the change rooms. The lockers are provided to secure

your personal items while using the Health Club and all items must be removed

before leaving the facility. The Hotel is not liable for items lost or damaged

within the Health Club.

 

9. Pets are not allowed in the following areas: Pool, Pool Deck and Health Club.

 

Fire & Safety

Should a fire alarm be sounded from anywhere in the building do not panic. You will be notified by the public address system that the situation is being investigated, and further instructions, if necessary, will follow.

 

Suite Decor

Apartment guests are not permitted to paint or alter the décor or furnishings of their unit.

 

Maintenance Concerns

In the event of an emergency mechanical problem, please contact the hotel operator (0) to report your concerns. A member  of the hotel’s Engineering Department will be dispatched to your apartment promptly to conduct repairs.

 

Property Damages

The client will also bear the cost of repair or replacement of any of the hotel’s property. The costs will be determined by the hotel management.
